Dalkey Castle Christmas with Santa

The Dalkey Castle Christmas Show for Children with Santa is full of fun, stories, singing & games. The magic is created by actors from Deilg Inis Theatre Company and exuberant, and fun-loving Tour Guides.

Get into the Christmas spirit by practicing Santa’s favourite song with Jingle, the elf. Tell Twinkle what goodies you will leave out for Santa and the reindeers.

The highlight, needless to say, is the appearance of the main man himself – Santa Claus! The children will help Santa get his ‘Ho Ho Ho’ back. Will all the children be on his nice list? Oh Yes, they will!

The experience lasts approx. forty minutes. No queuing involved. There is an age-appropriate gift for each child.

Dates: Fridays (5th Dec, 12th Dec & 19th Dec) Times – 16.00, 17.00 & 18.00)

Saturdays & Sundays throughout (Times – 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00).

Weekdays – Monday 22nd Dec (Times – 14.00, 15.00, 16.00)

Max. No. per slot: 20

Accompanying adults Minimum one adult to 5 children on each booking.

  Thoroughly recommended - I thoroughly recommend this activity. The introductory video, interactive exhibits and, most of all, the live actors make it hugely enjoyable for all ages.   Highly enjoyable visit to Dalkey Castle - Loved this tour so much (and a light lunch at Queens afterwards) with my husband a few weeks ago that I booked again for myself and my daughter visiting... read more from Edinburgh on the 10th. The tour which lasts about an hour is fabulously put together and the actors were superb! Such a fun 'feel good' interactive tour ( lots of fun& laughter) and such incredible good value! I would advise turning off phone for duration of tour. I forgot to do that and my phone rang, but fortunately it was at the end of the tour. The staff are so courteous and welcoming. I am looking forward to visiting Dalkey Castle and beautiful Dalkey again very soon. Thanks to everyone for such a memorable visit! Callibg all visitors- please do include Dalkey Castle on your to visit list! You won't be disappointed! 100% recommend to all 🙌

  A chat with the past 🙂 - I absolutely loved it, the historical characters (played by actors) were interesting and funny, and brought a real medieval feel to the tour.
