Then we learned more about the castle and its church ruins during which we interacted with 3 actors describing medieval life. They were just fantastic -- engaging, funny, and full of information! I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained. Dalkey itself is a gem and the views from the top of the castle were so beautiful! I would definitely recommend prioritizing a trip to Dalkey and a tour of the castle!

We were welcomed by the staff at the desk and were told the next tour was 45 minutes later - as we chatted, the previous group finished there tour and came into the reception, all of them beaming and saying how great it was.
It really was great, it was a wonderful interactive Theatre production, we learnt so much not only about the history of the castle, but also about this part of Ireland many years ago. I won’t say too much about the experience, because I want you to enjoy the surprises too! Just go, you won’t regret it - well done to all the team involved at the Heritage Centre.
