Joycean Walk

Hear all about other surprising Dalkey connections to James Joyce with our Joycean expert, Joe Dunne. Joyce’s father John Stanislaus lived in Dalkey, having left Cork. He kept a boat in Coliemore and competed in the Dalkey Regatta. Savour the setting at the Clifton School where, “On his wise shoulders through the checkerwork of leaves the sun flung spangles, dancing coins.”

Bloomsday Festival is supported by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
